JOHN SAWRUK

John passed away today, 11/12/08, from cancer.  The Pontiac world has lost a true friend.  Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.  John will be missed.

Several members of the Goat Herd from Oregon knew John quite well from his attendance at Tiger Run, or at our attendance at different national meets where he was always available for questions and timely information.   Many in the Goat Herd will send a condolence card….if you or your club would like to do the same, the Sawruk home address is:

Tiger Run up-date

Calling all Tiger Run Attendees……Tiger Run 2009 is but 6 months away….we are interested in finding out who has been to every Tiger Run since the first one in 1991.   Off the top of my head, those who have been to every Tiger Run since 1991 include Grand Poo-Bah Jim Gulley, Marc Neary, Frank Richards, Ted and Paul Walrath, ZBOO-Bob Vidan, Chris Hawkins, John Pignataro, and Frank Salerno.  If you are not listed here and should be, please let Jim Gulley or Frank Salerno know.

Also, if you have taken pictures at any Tiger Run show that you feel are noteworthy, please submit them to Tiger Run by sending a copy to the Tiger Run PO Box 1367, Clackamas, Oregon, 97015.  Digital cameras we not available during the first several years of Tiger Run, but now they are the norm.  If you have any pictures you would like to submit that are digital, please e-mail your photo(s) to Holly Geist at hollyhcg1224@aol.com .   Finally, if you have any suggestions for a new event you would like to see or participate in at Tiger Run, please contact us….we are always looking for something new or different to enhance your participation at Tiger Run.

Web ’steer’

To keep our Web site looking as good as it does, (pretty isn’t it?  Thanks Ty) the club asked for a volunteer to post new items and keep the content to that which makes us proud.  Once we had our volunteer the word bovine first came to mind, then the word steer just poped up.  The first Goat Herd Web Steer is Jim Gulley he volunteered (OK I promised to let him breath again) to be the ‘go to’ person with things you want to have posted on the Web site .  Gulley can be contacted at grn64gto@msn.com
